Vocabulary Skits

Page history last edited by Jen Calipari 10 years, 7 months ago

A fun way to review the vocabulary words is to divide the students into small groups.  The size of the groups depends on how many vocabulary words you have that week.  Give each group one of the vocabulary words.  They then have 2-5 minutes to come up with a skit to act out the word.  When time is up, the groups take turns performing their skits, then the other students guess which vocabulary word it is.  I have done this activity for a few years and the students always look forward to it.  It only takes 10-15 minutes and they have a chance to review the vocabulary and be creative and perform at the same time.
